Kung Zhu, Zhu Zhu Pets Review and Giveaway!

This summer belongs to Zhu Zhu Pets. And with the new release of the Kung Zhu pets, the fun is sure to continue!

My son has been asking about these for some time now. He doesn't have one and loves the idea of owning virtual pets. They'll ad to the pets he already has, a dog and a fish.

Since my son was so excited about these furry creatures, I jumped at the chance to host a summer Kung Zhu- Zhu Zhu pets party. I said a quick prayer, and weeks later came home to a huge surprise. A big box full of Kung Zhu- Zhu Zhu pets, accessories and play sets. Oh it's on now!

We waited several weeks to throw the party due to my daughter's graduation. My son could hardly stand it. He couldn't wait to dive into the hot, trendy, toys! I notified my friends and family about the event and they were thrilled to be able to participate.

Leading up to the party, we gave the house a good cleaning and prepared a simple lunch of hot dogs and chips, (every kids favorite). We then assembled some of the Kung Zhu play sets which were fairly easy, even though we were a bit rushed as party time approached.

Finally, it was time to partay Kung Zhu style! Some children had no idea where they were going, which made it a fun surprise. We handed out toys to everyone. It was really cute when one child asked, "Do we get to keep these"? How often does a kid get to attend a party where he or she is the guest of honor!

The children were too excited to eat lunch, but I managed to get them to the table with the you- can't-play-until-after-you-eat trick, and it worked perfectly!

After lunch it was Zhu-Zhu time. The kids literally played for a couple of hours while the adults relaxed and chatted. I sat back and watched all of the smiles and giggles. What a blessing it was to my family and I to be able to put on this unforgettable party.

We wanted to share the fun with you also. One reader will receive a Kung Zhu pet, accessory and play set! First, leave a comment about one of your Zhu Zhu pet experiences (mandatory). To earn extra entries:

  8. I stood in line at 6AM in December 2009 to get my daughter a Zhu Zhu pet. She didn't know what they were, and I just liked the challenge of getting one. She has since fallen in love with them and is mesmerized by the Kung Zhu ones as much as she is with the originals!
